What Is Twist Tie And Bread Clip
Jun 21, 2021

A twist tie is a fastener made of one or more metal wires encased in a thin strip of paper or plastic, in such a way that it can bend and retain its shape. It is used to tie the openings of baking food containers. Twist Ties are commonly available individually in pre-cut lengths, on large spools, or in perforated sheets called gangs. There are two main materials of tie wire, paper and PET. Paper twist ties can reduce the pollution of the environment, and also provide a safer environment for users especially kids. Metallic twist ties are made of PET film and gold-plated threads which will not rust. The material is firm enough to support repeated use.

A bread clip is a device used to hold plastic bags closed, such as the ones in which sliced bread is commonly packaged. They are also commonly called bread tags, bread tabs, bread ties, or bread-bag clips. In some cases, the color of the tag indicates the day on which it was baked, although there is no universal standard for the color code. Most designs of bread clip consist of a single plastic part through which the neck of a plastic bag can be threaded. Because these bread clips are cheap, ubiquitous, and come in a variety of shapes and colors, some people collect them. Most bread clips are composed of plastic polystyrene but some company also makes cardboard bread clips.
These packaging materials, while seemingly insignificant, are an essential part of the baking industry chain. High quality and environmentally friendly materials will undoubtedly enhance the competitiveness of baking products.
